The best conditions for preserving your jewelry

Generally speaking, you can keep your jewelry with you during your daily activities, from morning to night.

Our jewels are all designed in 750‰ gold and are water-resistant, so you can easily keep them during showers, baths and hand-washing.

We do, however, suggest that you remove your jewelry during sports, housework and DIY activities, to avoid oxidizing, damaging or scratching your jewelry.

When you're not wearing your jewelry, we recommend that you get into the habit of storing it in its travel case or pouch, to avoid unpleasant surprises and possible loss.

Self-care for your jewelry, the key to its brilliance

When your jewelry is worn regularly, you may notice a lack of brilliance in the diamonds. These are simply deposits that have settled between the setting and your stones (due to the daily use of creams, gels, soaps, etc.).

To restore optimal shine, we recommend immersing your jewelry in a small bowl of warm, soapy water (washing-up liquid is ideal) for around 15 minutes. This will allow impurities to come away from the setting.

Then gently scrub your jewel with a soft toothbrush over, between and under your stones to remove impurities.

Allow to air dry, or gently dry your jewelry with a soft cloth.

These procedures can be performed every 3 to 6 months on average.

The professional interview

You can also drop off your jewelry in our showroom for a free, professional cleaning using our ultrasonic tanks.

Expertise and repolishing

We recommend that you have your jewel serviced every 5 years, in order to carry out an appraisal and repair if necessary.

If, despite your precautions, your jewel has received a shock, our craftsmen can re-polish and examine it, on request.

In the event of a snag, we recommend that you bring it back to us so as not to further weaken the frame and risk losing one or more of your stones.

Good to know

Diamonds

Considered the most resistant mineral, with a hardness of 10 on the Mohs scale, diamond is also the only one in the world to reflect so much light and to sparkle. As a result, it is virtually indestructible and hardly wears at all.

Gold and patina

Your jewel will naturally live with you, and its setting will develop a patina over time. It will lose its brilliance in favor of micro-scratches that will slightly mattify the appearance of the gold.

Rest assured, this is in no way a defect or oxidation phenomenon, but simply the natural wear and tear of gold.
